A collection bag dropped through my Mickleover address
-
Collection bags delivered to Mickleover - this is a business NOT a charity
marked “Our new project needs your support for Japan’. I have checked the
registration number printed on the bag and it relates to a private limited
company NOT a charity – be aware.
The company Vaidaura Ltd was registered to Unit 2, Denmark
Opening, Sprowston Road,
Norwich, NR3 4JG
in November 2010.To date no accounts have been filed with Companies House so it
is not possible to report if any of the proceeds of the company are given away
in aid.
This collection has been brought to the attention of Trading
Standards. They have attempted to contact the mobile phone number printed on
the bag – it is unobtainable. They have confrirmed that this is a company NOT a charity.
Their recommendation is “If you want to be sure that your
donations have been received by a charity – then take them directly to a
charity shop of your choice.”
Why not drop your unwanted items to the Age UK shop on Uttoxeter Road,
Mickleover?
Comments
They were on Central News the other night doing the same thing in Notts, best to give unwanted clothes best to charity shops I reckon!
